Quem era o querido empresário ‘Tuta’ que fez história no Brasil e teve partida confirmada: ‘Ícone’
Nesta última segunda-feira, dia 4 de novembro, foi confirmada a morte do querido empresário e comunicador Antônio Augusto Amaral de Caravalho, que era mais conhecido pelo seu apelido de ‘Tuta’. Ele morreu aos 93 anos de idade.
Internado em uma unidade de saúde, Tuta se tornou um nome marcante na história dos canais de comunicação no Brasil, pois ele atuou como diretor-presidente no Grupo Jovem Pan por muitos anos, assim consolidando o seu legado.
A Jovem Pan confirmou a notícia com uma nota: “Seu Tuta’, ícone da comunicação, revolucionou a história da Rádio Jovem Pan e marcou época na televisão. Pai, marido, avô, bisavô e querido por centenas de funcionários”, declararam.
Natural de São Paulo, ele nasceu em meados de 1931, iniciando sua carreira em um rádio do grupo da Record. Em 1952, ele auxiliou o seu pai a lançar a terceira emissora de televisão paulista, a TV Record.
Em 1960, ele se tornou responsável por idealizar os festivais de música da emissora, que impulsionaram importantes movimentos como a Tropicália e a Jovem Guarda.
A importância de Tuta para o rádio e a televisão lhe rendeu diversos prêmios ao longo da carreira. Em homenagem ao empresário, o governo de São Paulo decretou luto oficial de três dias.
O governador do estado, Tarcísio Freitas, também publicou uma nota lamentando o falecimento do querido empresário e comunicador que certamente fez história no Brasil por conta de seu talento.
