Segundo Khalid, o filho chegou a ter 4 audiências por videoconferência, mas em nenhuma das vezes o juíz apareceu. A próxima tentativa de audiência estava marcada para 21 de abril.
Na entrevista, Khalid revelou que o corpo do filho ainda não foi liberado pelas autoridades israelenses. O homem pediu ajuda do governo brasileiro para recuperar os restos mortais do filho.
“Nós pedimos à imprensa brasileira e ao governo brasileiro que pressionem [Israel] pela devolução do corpo de Walid. É desumano prender um jovem inocente, que não foi julgado e morreu por negligência médica, fome e sede.
